The Chicago White Sox placed right-hander Dominic Leone on the 60-day injured list on Friday because of a right UCL sprain, ending his injury-marred season. In a corresponding move, the White Sox activated right-hander Matt Foster from the 60-day injured list. Foster, 29, missed the entire 2023 season due to Tommy John surgery on April 19 of last year. | 5/20/24 | White Sox designate Brad Keller for assisgnment. The Chicago White Sox made a couple of roster moves Monday prior to the start of their series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Right-handed pitcher Dominic Leone, 32, has been reinstated from the 15-day injured list. Leone has been sidelined since May 5 with lower back tightness. | 5/19/24 | White Sox to DFA Brad Keller. With right-handed reliever Dominic Leone expected to come off the injured list Monday, right-hander Brad Keller will be designated for assignment, a source told the Sun-Times Sunday. Keller, the former Kansas City Royals starter signed to a minor league deal during spring training, allowed four solo home runs in his first start replacing Michael Soroka in the rotation against the Yankees Saturday. Soroka, who pitched four scoreless innings in relief with seven strikeouts Saturday, could return to the rotation, although the Sox could consider other alternatives.
