| 6/08/25 | Kyle Backhus called up: Diamondbacks select lefty pitcher. The Arizona Diamondbacks selected left-hander Kyle Backhus from Triple-A Reno on Sunday, the team announced. Catcher Aramis Garcia, who came up for insurance with an ailing Gabriel Moreno, was designated for assignment in a corresponding move. Moreno was available again Sunday after taking a wild pitch to his throwing hand on Friday. Right-handed pitcher Christian Montes De Oca was optioned back to Triple-A after serving as the Diamondbacks' 27th man for the doubleheader on Saturday.
