8/19/25 Kenley Jansen gives up 2 runs in 9th in Angels' loss to Reds. The Cincinnati Reds' Jose Trevino, second from center, scores on a sacrifice fly by TJ Friedl as Gavin Lux, right, celebrates and Angels relief pitcher Kenley Jansen, left, and catcher Travis d'Arnaud, second from right, stand by during the ninth inning on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, at Angel Stadium. 8/18/25 Reds take emotional win into series opener vs. Angels. Cincinnati's Jose Trevino singled in Will Benson in the ninth inning to forge a 2-2 tie, and Austin Hays lined a bases-loaded single down the third base line in the 10th to drive in TJ Friedl with the game-winning run as the Reds snapped Milwaukee's 14-game winning streak. The victory kept the Reds just 1 1/2 games behind the New York Mets in the chase for the final wild-card spot in the National League.

8/17/25 Cincinnati Reds Catcher Jose Trevino Shines as Unexpected Hero in Win Over Brewers. After another late blown lead, it was looking like the Reds would be swept for the first time this season in a series where they competed neck and neck with the best team in Major League Baseball. It was a unsung hero who stepped up for the Reds. Jose Trevino put the Reds ahead 1-0 with a sacrifice fly in the seventh. In the eighth with Tony Santillan on the mound, Trevino called for a pitchout and caught Milwaukee's Tyler Black trying to steal second base.
