2/08/25	Panthers star drops important take on Bryce Young. Adam Thielen has now made it clear that he fully plans on playing football in 2025, and he intends on doing so with the Carolina Panthers. Well, apparently, quarterback Bryce Young is a big part of it. During a sitdown at the Super Bowl's radio row, Thielen revealed his feelings on Young to The 33rd Team, and he seems pumped about the Panthers' future under center. Minnesota native and former Minnesota Viking, Adam Thielen told media members yesterday that he plans to continue his NFL career, at least for one more year. It's been a long time since the Carolina Players were relevant in fantasy football, with some small exceptions along the way. Heading into 2025 Adam Thielen looks to be the only legitimate option outside of Chuba Hubbard, assuming you can't quite bank on Bryce Young regularly putting up the kind of numbers he did in the season finale just yet. One potential exception to the rule is rookie wide receiver Jalen Coker, who pretty much nobody except for Panthers legend Steve Smith saw coming heading into this year. Good news: it sounds like veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen intends to keep playing in the NFL, at least for another season. That gives the Carolina Panthers at least one proven commodity at wide receiver, where Thielen was by far the team's best option down the stretch of the 2024 season. However, the names below Thielen on the Panthers' depth chart at this position amount to no more than a series of maybes and question marks. Xavier Legette has plenty of potential but also needs tons of work. 1/09/25	NFL pundit predicts blockbuster deal between Panthers and Jets. In no particular order, those needs are wide receiver and defense, defense, defense. Fixing a unit that allowed more points than any team in NFL history is going to take more than just one or two moves, of course. General manager Dan Morgan will have to use resources in free agency, the draft and maybe even a trade or two to get that unit back to a respectable level. High-quality route running is what makes undrafted veteran Adam Thielen the best wide receiver on the Carolina Panthers right now, even though he's competing for targets with a first-round draft pick and a handful of other receivers who are all younger and more athletic than he is.
