1/10/25 Warner leads 49ers' diminished All-Pro contingent. SANTA CLARA – Linebacker Fred Warner maintained his stature as an AP first-team All-Pro while several of his 49ers teammates slipped in the annual rankings after a 6-11, last-place season. No other 49ers player joined Warner as tight end George Kittle and fullback Kyle Juszczyk both dipped to AP second-team All-Pro. Kittle's 88 points fell 13 shy of Las Vegas Raiders rookie Brock Bowers, a Napa native. Juszczyk, also with 88 points, finished second to Baltimore's Patrick Ricard. Left tackle Trent Williams' run of three straight AP first-team All-Pro honors ended with him garnering just one vote, having missed the final seven games due to an ankle injury. The Bucs' Tristan Wirfs replaced him as

1/07/25 George Kittle has 'no shame' after 49ers' disappointing season. The San Francisco 49ers massively disappointed this season, finishing with a 6-11 due to several factors, including injuries, and that prompted defensive end Nick Bosa to say that “it's hard to look guys in the faces as the leader on the team.” Tight end George Kittle was asked about those comments, and he said he holds his head high because he put his best effort out there, and he is content with what he put on tape for the 49ers. “I haven't reflected too much because we played yesterday, but I will say that I'm pretty sure we had like, I have no idea what the number is, but it felt like we had 20 turnovers and then didn't get any turnovers, and so when you turn over the ball that much and you're not scoring in the red zone, and you're not getting turnovers, it's hard to win football games,” George Kittle said, via KNBR.

1/06/25 Kittle, Warner headline 49ers' team award winners from underwhelming 2024 season. Before teammates hit the parking lot for parts unknown Monday, the 49ers announced their yearly awards as voted by their peers. Tight end George Kittle won the Len Eshmont Award, which goes to the player who best exemplifies the inspirational and courageous play of Len Eshmont, an original member of the 1946 49ers team. Middle linebacker Fred Warner was the recipient of the Bill Walsh and Matt Hazeltine awards. “Anything you get awarded based on voting from your teammates and your peers is one of the biggest because they're the ones that are with you every single day,” Kittle said Monday.
