6/23/25 | Houston Astros projected to replace Isaac Paredes with young third baseman. The 2025 MLB Draft is about three weeks away and teams are starting to think of which young stars to draft into their farm system that can change their respective franchises. In ESPN's latest MLB mock draft, Kiley McDaniel projected the Houston Astros to take Xavier Neyens with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft. Neyens is a third baseman out of Mount Vernon High School in Washington. Neyens committed to Oregon State in August 2024, so it would be a while before he would join the Astros farm system and make his way up to Houston.
