7/15/25 Twins All-Star starting pitcher garnering interest, could be on the move. The Minnesota Twins are having a disappointing season and aren't in a playoff spot just two weeks from the trade deadline. At 47-49, the Twins are 11.5 games back from the Detroit Tigers for first place in the American League Central and four games back from the third AL Wild Card spot. The season took a turn when All-Star pitcher Pablo Lopez went down with a Grade 2 right shoulder strain at the beginning of June. Since June 3, the Twins are 14-22 and haven't looked like a team that's headed to October.

7/02/25 Twins lose starter to IL with hip injury. The Minnesota Twins have had an up-and-down season. After dominating in May, the Twins have cooled off significantly. Pablo Lopez's shoulder injury sent Minnesota spiraling, and manager Rocco Baldelli lost another starter. Bailey Ober joins Lopez and Zebby Matthews on the injured list and will be out for two weeks.

6/27/25 Minnesota Twins at the halfway point: Recap, playoff odds, superlatives. Every team goes through ups and downs in every baseball season, but the Twins' ride thus far has been a bit bumpier than most. In early June, the Twins were 34-27, the third-best record in the AL. Then Pablo Lopez and Zebby Matthews got hurt and the rest of the pitching staff completely unraveled. The Twins lost 15 of their next 18 games, allowing an absurd 144 runs during that span (with a -68 differential).

6/25/25 Twins pitching staff searching for answers amid tough stretch. After watching his pitchers give up a combined 46 runs in the past four games, Minnesota Twins pitching coach Pete Maki convened a meeting of the group before Tuesday night's game. The Twins entered Wednesday night's game against Seattle losers of 11 of their past 12 games. Sure, they lost their ace Pablo Lopez to a shoulder injury early in the month; that certainly has not helped matters.
