6/15/24 MIlwaukee Brewers fall short against red-hot Reds. (WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers ran into Cincinnati Reds team that has been on a roll and the Reds continued that roll Friday night at American Family Field in Milwaukee with a 6-5 win. The Reds who won despite committing 4 errors scored 6 runs on 10 hits and 1 walk off Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta in 5 1/3 innings. The Reds took a 1-0 lead in the third inning on a home run by TJ Friedl that the Brewers' William Contreras matched with his 9th home run in the last half of the third. Jonathan India gave the Reds a 2-1 lead with a run-scoring single in the fourth with Elly De La Cruz stroking a RBI triple and Jeimer Candelaria hitting a 2-run home run in the fifth. It was a bloodbath out there this week, folks.  I had teams with ERAs of epic proportions thanks to Bryan Bello, Freddy Peralta, and Hurston Waldrep, who took time off from the front of the Monopoly box to ruin my ratios.  Please, blog, may I have some more?
