June 28 - Bryan Reynolds hit a three-run home run and Alexander Canario hit two doubles to lead the host Pittsburgh Pirates to a 9-1 victory over the New York Mets on Friday night in the opener of a three-game series. Reynolds' 402-foot home run -- his ninth of the season -- off Mets reliever Blade Tidwell in the sixth inning made it 9-1 Pirates, which halted a two-game skid and won for the third time in five games. The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for the Mets and was their 11th defeat in their past 14 games. The Pirates jumped ahead with four runs in the second off Mets starter David Peterson (5-4). 6/23/25 Pirates Stave Off Brewers in Thrilling Victory. The Pittsburgh Pirates took an early lead vs. the Milwaukee Brewers, but would have to fight off their divisional opponent for a 5-4 victory at American Family Field. Right fielder Bryan Reynolds singled with two outs in the top of the first inning and then second baseman Nick Gonzales doubled, scoring Reynolds and giving the Pirates a 1-0 lead. Pirates rookie right-handed pitcher Braxton Ashcraft made his first MLB start vs. the Brewers, after making seven appearances out of the bullpen.

6/21/25 Bryan Reynolds Returns to Pirates. The Pittsburgh Pirates have one of their best players back on the team after short stint apart. Bryan Reynolds is back in the Pirates clubhouse, after spending the last few days on the paternity list. The Pirates announced that Reynolds departed, as his wife Blair went into labor with their third child. Top Pirates prospect Billy Cook came up from Triple-A Indianapolis.

6/18/25 Royals Predicted To Surprisingly Cut Ties With 9-Time All-Star This Winter. Recent discussion surrounding Kansas City's trade deadline strategy has eyes on its payroll. On Wednesday, during a discussion about the Royals possibly going after Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds, Bleacher Report's Zachary D. Rymer let slip a suggestion about a Kansas City veteran. “The Royals are already operating with an escalated payroll, but they could shed Salvador Perez and his $22 million salary this winter," Rymer wrote. "They could otherwise be confident that would be buying low on Reynolds, who still has a bunch of red on his Statcast profile.”

6/18/25 Baby is coming! Pirates' star leaves game in Detroit after wife goes into labor. Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds left Tuesday's loss to the Detroit Tigers in Detroit in the second inning after his wife went into labor, the team announced. Reynolds, a 2-time All-Star, struck out to end the top of the first. Reynolds, who had been expecting his third child for days, is expected to be added to the paternity list. According to the Associated Press, Pirates manager Don Kelly expects Reynolds to rejoin the team for this weekend's home series against the Texas Rangers.
