6/13/25 Chargers' freakish weapon already catching Justin Herbert's attention. How a freakish athletic like Gadsden fell all the way to Round 5 is anyone's guess, but, nevertheless, he did, and the Chargers reaped the benefits. Los Angeles had been searching for a tight end, as Will Dissly is clearly not a top option, and Tyler Conklin was a rather underwhelming free-agent signing. While the jury is obviously still out on Gadsden, he is apparently making a great impression early on. ESPN's Kris Rhim noted that the 6-foot-5 playmaker was the team's "most active pass catcher" in minicamp earlier this week, which included Gadsden snaring a few balls in traffic.

6/06/25 One Chargers tight end barely makes cut in top-32 ranking. Will Dissly will remain the starting tight end for the Chargers in 2025. The veteran was a solid addition to the offense in 2024.

Throughout the offseason, the tight end position was identified as one of the primary weaknesses on the Los Angeles Chargers roster. Will Dissly was the starter at the position in 2024 and had the best season of his seven-year career. 3/30/25 Chargers expected to grant Jim Harbaugh's wish with first-round NFL Draft pick. Jim Harbaugh has always been a fan of his guys, the players that he has been with along the way of his football journey. The Los Angeles Chargers will have a chance to create a reunion with the No. 22 pick in April's NFL Draft. Multiple mock drafts, the most recent from Pro Football Focus, have the Chargers taking Michigan tight end Colston Loveland with that choice. Loveland played with Harbaugh for two years at Michigan, and he'd bolster a depth chart currently led by Will Dissly.

3/12/25 Chargers preparing to swipe 25-TD tight end away from AFC West rival. The Los Angeles Chargers are looking at one of the top tight ends available on the free-agent market. After having to throw to the likes of Will Dissly, Hayden Hurst and Stone Smartt last season, Justin Herbert would love to have an addition such as Evan Engram to the roster and the team has brought him in for a visit. Engram, who was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars last week, met with the Denver Broncos on Monday.
