6/25/25 Insider Gives Rangers Star Slugger Shockingly High Chance To Get Traded. The Texas Rangers continue to be a middling team this year. Almost halfway through the regular season, the Rangers sit two games under .500 and 7.5 out of first place in the AL West and three back from the final Wild Card spot. If they aren't able to turn things around, president of baseball operations Chris Young might be forced to go against his preferred way of operating by selling off some of their best trade assets ahead of the July 31 deadline. In his recent piece highlighting the top 50 trade candidates, the insider gave Adolis Garcia a staggering 80% chance of being shipped out of town by the Rangers.

6/22/25 Could Struggling Texas Rangers Slugger Adolis Garcia Be Traded at Deadline?. The Texas Rangers are hovering around the periphery of a crowded race for the three American League wild card spots. Counting the Boston Red Sox, who currently hold the last one, there are seven teams within two games of making it to the postseason, including Texas. The team is in the mix despite an array of disappointing seasons from several of the club's key position players. The pitching staff has been fantastic, and while there is plenty of blame to go around amongst the hitters, outfielder Adolis Garcia has been chief among the issues, slashing .233/.281/.405 and hitting just nine home runs as of June 22.

6/20/25 Fireworks from Rangers stars power win over Pirates. June 21 - Adolis Garcia had three hits, including a home run and two RBI and made two great diving catches in right field to help the Texas Rangers beat the host Pittsburgh Pirates 6-2 on Friday night. Garcia went 3-for-4 and his efforts backed up a strong outing by starter Jacob deGrom (7-2), who pitched six innings, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out seven on 84 pitches. The Rangers snapped a three-game losing streak and handed the Pirates their fifth loss in their past six games. Marcus Semien and Jonah Heim each had two hits for Texas while Corey Seager hit his seventh home run of the season and first since returning from the injured list on May 28th. Joey Bart

6/14/25 Padres Linked to $14 Million All-Star Slugger as Trade Deadline Looms. Texas Rangers' Adolis Garcia is the newest of a long list of outfielders linked to the San Diego Padres, who desperately need to patch a hole in left field. The Padres have been trying to fix their issues in left field since the departure of Jurickson Profar in the offseason, an issue which became even more evident after the Padres traded Connor Joe to the Cincinatti Reds and saw Jason Heyward head to the injured list for the second time in a young season.
