9/02/25 Straw in the midst of a career season for Blue Jays after almost quitting baseball. Around this time last year, Myles Straw was considering retiring from professional baseball at the age of 29. If Straw wasn't going to be playing in the major leagues, he'd rather be focusing on his home life. Straw was a September call-up to the Guardians on Sept. 17, playing in seven games with one hit and two runs in four at-bats.

The Brewers play the Phillies on Labor Day, with game coverage beginning at 2:35pm on WSAU.

8/15/25 Blue Jays players wear each others' jerseys on Toronto streets. Anyone who's attended a major event in downtown Toronto knows how hectic the crowds getting in or out of the venue can be. As emphasized by multiple Leafs opponents visiting the city during rush hour, Niall Horan, and even Toronto athletes themselves, sometimes it's simply easier to walk around town than deal with Toronto traffic when on your way to a game in town. Davis Scheider and Myles Straw opted to hit the road from the Rogers Centre on Thursday night after a day game wearing a pair of Blue Jays jerseys, but not their own.
