6/15/25 Willson and William Contreras first pair of brothers to homer in same inning as opponents since 1933. Willson and William Contreras became the second pair of brothers to homer in the same inning as opponents in baseball’s modern era. Both went deep Saturday in the ninth inning of the St. Louis Cardinals’ 8-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers that snapped the Cards’ six-game skid. Willson Contreras’ ninth homer of the season, a solo shot to right-center, gave St. Louis an 8-4 lead in the top of the ninth. William Contreras led off the bottom half of the inning with his sixth homer. The Contreras brothers are the first to homer in the same inning as opponents since Rick and Wes Ferrell on July 19, 1933.

6/14/25 Contreras, Peralta Shine as Brewers Top Cardinals. MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — William Contreras recorded an RBI double and a sac fly while starting pitcher Freddy Peralta went six innings and gave up just four hits in a 3-2 Brewers win over St. Louis on Friday. Contreras opened the scoring in the 4th inning, bringing home Sal Frelick. The Cardinals struck back with a Nolan Arenado double in the 5th to tie the game, but a productive out and fielder's choice in the 6th would prove to be the deciding factor. Contreras scored Frelick again on a sacrifice fly. Then, with one out and Jackson Chourio on 3rd, Christian Yelich would ground to the second baseman. Chourio was sent home and beat the throw from second baseman Nolan Gorman, making the score 3-1.
