5/11/25 | Tigers lineup: Zach McKinstry at shortstop in series finale. Zach McKinstry will be starting at shortstop for the Detroit Tigers on Sunday afternoon. Regular shortstop Trey Sweeney went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts on Saturday and also appeared to land hard and painfully on a diving attempt late in the game. Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said ideally he would have waited for a left-handed opposing pitcher to give Sweeney a day off, but the scheduled didn't cooperate.
