| 8/12/24 | Rodolfo Castro has worked through a lot in short time in Phillies organization. Rodolfo Castro looked like he caught a big break when he was traded Aug. 1, 2023, from the Pirates to the Phillies for pitcher Bailey Falter. The Dominican Republic native went from another western Pennsylvania rebuild to a World Series contender. Castro struggled in 14 games the rest of 2023 with the Phillies, did not appear on the club's postseason roster then missed more than four months this year with the Triple-A IronPigs because of an injury suffered in the second game.
