| 9/12/24 | Astros put McCormick on IL with fractured hand. The Houston Astros placed outfielder Chas McCormick on the 10-day injured list Thursday because of a small fracture on his right hand. The move is retroactive to Wednesday, one day after McCormick suffered the injury after running into the right-field wall while chasing down a foul ball in Houston's loss to the Oakland Athletics. "It's really disappointing," said McCormick, who returned from a short minor league stint earlier this month.
