7/17/25 | Seattle Mariners could target trade for bat, arm together. The Seattle Mariners have a few different avenues they can go down to improve their club before the July 31 MLB trade deadline. The most obvious need is an impact bat, and the Mariners have flexibility in terms of the position that hitter could play. Another likely area where Seattle could aim to upgrade is the bullpen, as the Mariners could strengthen the bridge between their starting rotation and a back-end of the bullpen led by All-Star closer Andrés Muñoz and setup men Matt Brash and Gabe Speier. 7/09/25 | Matt Brash's Slider Draws Extremely High Praise From Seattle Mariners Manager. Seattle Mariners reliever Matt Brash has been one of the best bullpen arms in the game since returning from injury at the beginning of May. What's even more impressive is that Brash has immediately picked up where he left off. Entering Wednesday, Brash has posted a 0.47 ERA with 20 strikeouts in 19.1 innings pitched across 21 appearances. Source: https://www.si.com/mlb/mariners/news/matt-brash-s-... |
