4/03/25 | Pirates Trade Catcher to Braves. The Pittsburgh Pirates sent one of their position players off to another MLB team. The Pirates announced that they traded catcher Jason Delay to the Atlanta Braves for cash considerations, amongst a number of moves. Pittsburgh designated Delay for assignment on April 1, as they added right-handed pitcher Thomas Harrington to the 40-man roster and optioned right-handed pitcher David Bednar to Triple-A Indianapolis to make room for Harrington on the Pirates 26-man active roster.
