6/12/25 Raiders surprise rookie is dominating 1st-team reps on offense. The Las Vegas Raiders used picks in the first and second round on offensive players. But the rookie dominating so far in minicamp on offense was chosen with the 108th pick in the fourth round. That's wide receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr. ESPN's Ryan McFadden writes, "Thornton has spent a good amount of time with the first-team offense. Las Vegas would occasionally have Thornton and Tre Tucker on the outside while Jakobi Meyers lined up as a slot receiver. Thornton has a unique blend of size and speed. The former Tennessee pass catcher stands at 6-foot-5 and completed the 40-yard dash in 4.3 seconds at the NFL scouting combine. The Raiders are expecting Thornton to provide vertical juice to the offense."

6/05/25 Chip Kelly already doing what Luke Getsy never could with Raiders playmaker. For years, the Oakland and Las Vegas Raiders simply could not figure out how to field a competitive defense. In 2024, the Raiders' offense was so bad that they fired offensive coordinator Luke Getsy and a handful of position coaches after just nine games. Getsy was unable to maximize the talent he had, which included promising wide receiver Tre Tucker. The 2023 third-round pick had an underwhelming rookie year, and even in the absence of Davante Adams, he failed to improve at the rate that Raider Nation expected him to in 2024.
