The MLB's 2025 All-Star Futures Game rosters were announced on Monday morning, and they included some great news for the Detroit Tigers. The All-Star Futures Game is meant to highlight the best of the best when it comes to minor leaguers and prospects, something that the Tigers have no shortage of. There were three top Detroit prospects named to the AL roster, all of which being position players. Outfielder Max Clark, infielder Kevin McGonigle and catcher Josue Briceno were the ones to receive nods this time around.

6/25/25 Tigers Prospect Vaults to No. 1 After Breakout Campaign. The Detroit Tigers have one of the top team's in baseball right now and a very fun group of prospects also waiting for their turn. CBS Sports' R.J. Anderson recently released an updated ranking of the top prospects in baseball and there was some interesting movement for the Tigers youngsters. Outfielder Max Clark moved up one spot to the No. 10 overall spot. 6/22/25 Henning: Tigers prospect Max Clark's numbers, promotion worth deeper discussion in June. The news today is Clark, in 57 games for the high-A Whitecaps, is batting an unremarkable .257. More reassuring for the Tigers is Clark's elite .412 on-base percentage. It speaks to what more detailed metrics tell the Tigers development heads: Clark knows the strike zone and what pitches to attack. Clark is two years out of high school.

6/15/25 Around the Tigers' farm: Prize prospect Clark has cooled but overall status unchanged. One can fairly ask if Max Clark's inevitable move to Double A Erie has been softened or delayed by a relatively tepid past month at high-A West Michigan. In the last four weeks, Clark, 20, and one of the Tigers' top-three farm talents, has batted .206. Clark still has more walks (23) than strikeouts (18) during those past 19 games. The Tigers aren't worried and appeared this weekend – after West Michigan had wrapped up a first-half division title with the Midwest League's best record – to be on the verge of bidding farewell to Clark, as well as to shortstop Kevin McGonigle, as they prepare two blue-chip talents for new adventures at Double A Erie.
