5/06/25 Top Seattle Mariners Prospects All Move Up in MLB Pipeline Rankings. Detroit Tigers pitcher Jackson Jobe just graduated off the MLB Top 100 prospect list, meaning that all eight members of the Seattle Mariners' farm system on that list have moved up one spot. Infielder Colt Emerson, currently playing at High-A Everett, is now ranked No. 17 while Lazaro Montes, also at Everett, is now 37th. Cole Young, an infielder at Triple-A Tacoma, has moved up to 44th and catcher Harry Ford (Tacoma) is now 59th.

4/30/25 AJ Hinch Gets Real On Tigers' Series Finale Win Vs. Astros. After taking early leads in Game 1 and 2, the Tigers were unable to hold off the Astros. The Tigers needed to end the series on a positive note, and they did just that. Jackson Jobe got the start on the rubber and gave the team some good innings, and Javier Baez came up with a clutch grand slam to help lift the team to victory.

4/27/25 After lengthy layoff, Jackson Jobe finally back on Tigers' pitching calendar. Detroit Tigers rookie starter Jackson Jobe is back on the pitching calendar after a long layoff, but he won't take the mound until Wednesday afternoon's series finale in Houston against the Astros.. “Normal” rest is considered four days off, although the Tigers and other teams increasingly prefer to give their starters five days off when possible. In any case, Jobe will be on the shelf for a while. “It's not ideal to have 12 days off, but he's handled it well,” said Tigers manager A.J. Hinch.

4/25/25 Detroit Tigers Future Top Prospect Has Massive Day at Plate in Minor Leagues. The Detroit Tigers have the best farm system in all of baseball with a rich prospect pool and a blend of talent both knocking on the door of the MLB level and still a couple of years away. As prospects graduate to the Major Leagues, the hope is that an assembly line of players keep the overall farm system strong. In the Tigers case, current No. 1 prospect Jackson Jobe is obviously about to graduate while No. 2 and No. 3 guys Max Clark and Kevin McGonigle are still at least a year away. By the time Clark and McGonigle are ready to make the transition however — or maybe even before — the top prospect in the organization will almost assuredly be 2024 first round selection in shortstop Bryce Rainer.
