Every NFL player who takes a snap gets a performance bonus check. Broncos ' nickelback Ja'Quan McMillian, an undrafted rookie in 2022, made the second-year minimum $915,00 salary last year but played 870 snaps on defense (75%) and another 39 on special teams. The NFL Players Association's formula kicked out a $773,090 performance bonus check for McMillian, which was tops among Broncos' players. Luke Wattenberg, Riley Moss, Nate Adkins and Justin Strnad also got nice performance bonus checks.
