8/25/25 Brooks Baldwin finds MLB groove and is emerging as a key piece for the White Sox. Brooks Baldwin's return to the White Sox has looked far better than hisĀ first look in MLB. Back in May, Chicago White Sox infielder Brooks Baldwin looked overmatched, hitting just .215 and struggling both at the plate and to find a defensive home before being optioned to Charlotte.

8/19/25 Brooks Baldwin Shows Progress At Plate In Second Season With Chicago White Sox. All season, the White Sox have challenged Brooks Baldwin to balance his aggression and discipline at the plate. During the first portion of the 24-year-old's second Major League season, Baldwin struggled to find that happy medium. Immediately, he made Minor League pitchers look hopeless. Baldwin slashing .368/.427/.752 with 12 home runs in just 132 plate appearances with the Charlotte Knights was certainly a good sign.

8/19/25 White Sox let big lead dwindle against Braves but hold on to snap four-game skid. The White Sox needed better starting pitching and a better offense to break their late-summer slump, and they got both Monday, outslugging the Braves 13-9 to end a four-game losing streak. There might have been a bit of a sour taste in their mouths after another shaky night for the bullpen almost led to the Sox coughing up a 10-1 lead, but this team will take victories any way it can get 'em. Brooks Baldwin got a cathartic night for the offense started with a 404-foot solo home run off Braves starter Spencer Strider in the third. The Sox added six runs in the fourth, starting when Luis Robert Jr. lined a two-run homer into the left-field bullpen for his first round-tripper in two weeks.
