Texas Rangers OF Sandro Fabian expected to play in Japan after leaving organization. The Texas Rangers have another opening on the 40-man roster. According to two reports, outfielder Sandro Fabian, who made his MLB debut in September for the Rangers, is headed to Japan on a three-year deal worth $5.8 million with the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. The Rangers are expected to get some degree of financial compensation for releasing Fabian, though the amount remains uncertain. The Rangers added Fabian to the active roster in early September, but he appeared in just three games over the final month of the season, going hitless in five at-bats.
