According to Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic, the Brewers reportedly had concerns about Sanchez's wrist, which he fractured last season after being hit by a pitch. Rosenthal further noted that Sanchez will still be able to make up to $7 million, but some of it will depend on how well his wrist holds up. In addition to serving as William Contreras' primary backup catcher, Sanchez is anticipated to see a good deal of time as a designated hitter this upcoming season, especially against left-handed pitchers as often as possible
