6/27/25 Angels fans will keel over with laughter when they see who Yankees want to trade for. The Angels will mull whether or not they want to label themselves as buyers or sellers at the MLB trade deadline over the next month. The vibes are pretty solid in Anaheim right now, so selling off some beloved clubhouse presences might be in Perry Minasian's best interests. The Angels have a couple major league players they could trade, but still not be labelled as sellers per se. Tyler Anderson is one, since his performance as of late has been mediocre.

6/26/25 Angels fans ready to say goodbye to slumping starter at MLB trade deadline. Angels fans ready to say goodbye to slumping starter at MLB trade deadline It might finally be time to go By Evan Roberts | Share on Facebook Share on X Copy Article Los Angeles Angels v Baltimore Orioles | Mitchell Layton/GettyImages Share on Facebook Share on X Share on Reddit Copy Article The Angels have remarkably gone the entire 2025 season with just five starters, but it's the bullpen that has been outshining them the past two months. Tyler Anderson said it himself after his last start against Boston: “Obviously as a starter, you want to go deeper into games there, but man, our bullpen has just been unbelievable, so kudos to those guys for coming in, shutting it down and keeping it there.”

6/24/25 Angels Would Get 2 Top Prospects in Trade Proposal That Sends $39 Million All-Star to NL. The Los Angeles Angels are nearing a return to a .500 record in what has been a streaky season thus far. As the Halos look ahead to the impending trade deadline, they find themselves in quite the predicament: Stick with the current roster and make a run to try and break baseball's longest active postseason drought, or sell some of their key pieces and start the process of retooling for 2026 and beyond. The Angels have tons of potential with their productive young core, but some of the older members of the team have generated significant trade buzz. The Athletic's Jim Bowden recently came up with a trade proposal that sent southpaw Tyler Anderson to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for right-handed pitching prospects Yordin Chalas and Roman Angelo.

6/22/25 Angels rumors: Trade deadline plans come with important caveat. At the moment, things are looking a bit bleak when it comes to the playoff odds for the Los Angeles Angels. They are in fourth place in the AL West, six and a half games behind the division leading Houston Astros. “While the Los Angeles Angels certainly have some nice trade chips like left-hander Tyler Anderson, closer Kenley Jansen and infielder Luis Rengifo, they don't plan to sell at the trade deadline unless they suddenly fall apart,” reported Nightengale on Sunday. Furthermore, the Angels just took three out of four on the road against the New York Yankees. If they defeat the Astros once again Sunday, then another series win will be theirs.
