Sandy León was selected to the Braves MLB roster ahead of Atlanta's game against the San Francisco Giants, the team announced . León will be Atlanta's third catcher along with Drake Baldwin and Sean Murphy. To make room for León, the Braves designated outfielder Stuart Fairchild for assignment. Chris Sale and León were teammates in Boston, winning a World Series together in 2018. León spent five seasons with the Red Sox .
