LOS ANGELES (WIBW) - Osage City High School alumni and current Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Blake Treinen has agreed to terms to return, the team announced on Tuesday, Dec. 12. The defending World Series champions re-signed one of its key contributors to a two-year, $22 million deal. Trienen, 36, posted a 1.93 ERA in the 2024 campaign. In three of his last four full seasons, Treinen has contributed with a sub-2.00 ERA. Trienen finished the 2024 postseason with 9 games pitched, a 2-0 record, 2.19 ERA, 3 saves and 18 strikeouts. Before Treinen re-signed with L.A., CBS Sports ranked Treinen as the No. 22 available free agent in the 2024 off-season.
