Baseball, like a flower, blooms in the spring. They also share equally effusive PR people. Just the other day I read about how a petunia’s branches gained 15 pounds and was in the best shape of its life. I wonder if it’s on the same diet as Zac Veen. Please, blog, may I have some more?

Treinen was out for four months with an arm injury and pitched ineffectively after that, but he said he feels “awesome” this spring and expects to be back in a key role in the Dodgers’ bullpen again.
