7/07/25 Aaron Judge Sends Strong Juan Soto Message After Yankees’ Series vs. Mets. The Subway Series took place this week in Queens at Citi Field, and while the New York Yankees came away with a 6–4 win on Sunday, they ultimately dropped two out of three to the New York Mets. Following Sunday’s win, Yankees superstar Aaron Judge had strong words about the Mets and former Yankees teammate Juan Soto, who signed a massive 15-year deal with the Mets this offseason after helping lead the Yankees to the World Series.

7/07/25 How Cody Bellinger gave Yankees defensive 'comfort' long before 'play of the year'. Little had gone right for the Yankees, especially on defense. With the team in the midst of another summer swoon and desperately trying to avoid a seventh straight loss on Sunday, that trend continued at Citi Field during porous fifth and sixth innings. While Aaron Judge made a diving catch with the tying runner on third to end the sixth and Paul Goldschmidt turned a key double play in the eighth, it was Cody Bellinger who made the game's most outrageous play in the seventh. With the Yankees' protecting their two-run lead and Francisco Lindor on first with nobody out, Juan Soto sliced a line drive Bellinger's way in left.
